Any mode to your liking!

Aside from familiar setting and gameplay that won’t cause you any trouble to get used to even despite a few minor tweaks, Splatoon 2 has several modes you can play in. Aside from arena battles where each of the players control their own Inkling and fight one on one, you can take part in team fights featuring up to 8 participants. Here you have to ink as much of the map as possible with the color of your team to win. Killing your opponents isn’t necessary – at least, you won’t get any additional points for it. There is also a campaign mode where you can learn more about the history of this world and fight against the evil Octolings across five little islands completing missions and helping your nation in the struggle with this insidious and belligerent tribe.

Great number of weapons and upgrades!

After each match, you will gain both experience and money. What’s important, you can level up not just your character, but also their equipment. Each of the Inklings wears three kinds of items – clothes, footwear and accessory. They can be of various degrees of rarity. And expectedly, the rarer the item the more slots it has to enhance it with various perks. These perks are opened up as you reach new levels. There are lots and lots of them, but you can’t choose them and have to do with random selection. However, you can also increase your chance of getting one perk or another by drinking a special cocktail. What kind of perks are there? For instance, you can make your Inkling run faster, increase the volume of their ink tank and so on.
